Communication Agency (Agecom)

The UFSC Communication Agency (Agecom) was established in 1992 with the task of implementing and executing the University’s Public Communication Policy.

Agecom produces content for a range of institutional communication materials. Its responsibilities include producing news for the UFSC website and liasing with the media.

In alignment with UFSC’s Public Communication Policy, by publicizing the institutional production represented by the work of its faculty, staff, researchers, students and managers, Agecom projects and strengthens the image, concept and identity of a public, free and quality university.

In its commitment to communicate and disseminate, UFSC adopts a philosophy of public communication that respects the Codes of Professional Ethics and of Civil Servants, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Constitution and the rules of journalism, promoting an effective integration between the university, the media and society, and maintaining a permanent channel of dialogue and interaction with its audiences.
