SECOM
The Office of Communication (SECOM) at UFSC is responsible for managing and integrating the University’s institutional communication system, which comprises the UFSC Communication Agency (Agecom), TV UFSC, and Radio UFSC (currently under development).
SECOM carries out planning and strategic activities, based on the principles of good public communication. It promotes training activities for UFSC’s communication and management agents, enabling them to perform multiple communication tasks at the University. It also seeks to strengthen the University’s institutional image in society, fostering connections and developing communication initiatives focused on sicence communication and the promotion of pluralistic and democratic values.
In addition, SECOM advises the Rector’s Office on communication-related matters, manages the Rectorate’s communication channels, and serves as the University’s liaison with the media.
