Communication Agency (Agecom)
The UFSC Communication Agency (Agecom) was established in 1992 with the responsibility of implementing the University’s Public Communication Policy.
Agecom produces content for a range of institutional communication channels and materials. Its responsibilities include publishing news on the UFSC website and liaising with the media.
By promoting the academic, scientific, and institutional work carried out by UFSC faculty, staff, researchers, students, and administrators, Agecom helps strengthen the image, reputation, and identity of a public, free, and high-quality university.
Its activities are guided by a public communication philosophy grounded in the Codes of Ethics for Journalists and Public Servants, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Constitution, and the principles of journalism. Through this approach, UFSC fosters effective engagement with the media and society while maintaining a permanent dialogue with its audiences.
